Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry – Queensland
The Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre – Queensland has been selected to manage the Queensland Node of the Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry (PCOR).
The aim of the registry is to improve the quality of care provided to men with prostate cancer. Information from the registry will be used to monitor care provided, including treatment, complications and both short and longer term outcomes of care. This information will be used to help identify trends and whether gaps exist in service provision.
This is a national research project funded by Movember, with the support of all specialty medical societies managing prostate cancer disease and local organisations in each State and Territory.
