Diagnostic Technology would like to invite you to a seminar introducing the newly launched DEPArray system from Silicon Biosystems (see abstract below). This system is an automated platform that is designed to isolate, characterise and collect rare cells, such as CTCs based on a lab-on-a-chip technology for downstream analysis.

The DEPArray uses the analysis of fluorescently labelled positive and negative markers combined with fluorescence assisted morphology to identify the cell(s) of interest and is not to be confused with flow cytometry.

The poster 'Use of the DEPArray platform to detect, isolate, and molecularly characterize pure tumor cells from peripheral blood samples enriched using the CellSearch® system' illustrates how the DEPArray platform can be used to isolate tumour cells from peripheral blood samples.

Venue:

Translational Research Institute (TRI)
Seminar Room 2004 (ground floor)
37 Kent Street, Woolloongabba
