APCRC-Q Founder and Executive Director Professor Colleen Nelson Celebrated in Australia Day 2021 Honours
Professor Colleen Nelson has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia, for significant service to medical research, particularly prostate cancer, and to health organisations, in the 2021 Australia Day Honours.
Professor Colleen Coyne Nelson was one of 117 Queenslanders recognised in the 2021 Australia Day Honours List for memorable contributions to the State and the nation, appointed a Member of the Order of Australia, for significant service to medical research, particularly prostate cancer, and to health organisations. We warmly congratulate Professor Nelson for this well-deserved achievement, which is testament to her unwavering dedication to translational prostate cancer research, to training, mentoring and nurturing hundreds of successful prostate cancer researchers, and to serving the community over the past three decades.
