PA Research FoundationSince 1984 the Princess Alexandra Research Foundation has invested more than 20 million dollars into cutting edge research and equipment, turning the PA campus into one of the most energetic research precincts in the nation.

At the PA Research Foundation we are all about doing just this, saving lives to create a healthy world for all - by working hand in hand with the community to create opportunities to bring amazing health and medical breakthroughs to life.

Based at the PA Hospital Campus, the Southern Hemispheres leading precinct for medical discoveries, PA research Foundation is home to some of the world’s most outstanding medical achievements, including the world's first cancer vaccine, Gardisil, widely regarded as THE major milestone in the fight against cancer and saving millions of lives across the globe.

Within the on-campus Translational Research Institute, 1300 researchers investigate disease prevention, early detection, treatment and cures. These researchers are tackling some of the biggest health problems, and working at the forefront of the major health challenges facing the nation:
