Our vision is for a cancer free Queensland

Cancer Council QueenslandEstablished in 1961, as the Queensland Cancer Fund, the Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ) has more than 50 years of experience in supporting Queenslanders affected by cancer.

The CCQ has offices in Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Maroochydore, Toowoomba, and the Gold Coast and employs over 250 staff statewide. The Council relies on the support of more than 2,500 registered volunteers as well as supporters and friends to carry out their work.

The CCQ is committed to providing all Queenslanders with the best possible prospects by supporting progress in the prevention, detection, effective treatment and survival of a cancer diagnosis.

Cancer Council Queensland is a member of Cancer Council Australia and is affiliated with the International Union Against Cancer (UICC).
