Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners (BDHP) brings together eight of Queensland’s leading hospitals, universities and research institutes. By facilitating collaboration, we will ensure translation and integration of cutting-edge research and innovation deliver better health outcomes for all Queenslanders.

BDHP’s vision is to be recognised as a premier academic health sciences partnership that is a global example of outstanding health services delivery.  The partnership’s mission is to integrate innovative research with education and training and clinical care to deliver the highest quality patient care for its local and extended communities.

The establishment of this partnership formalises and strengthens the linkages between healthcare, research and education for the benefit of Brisbane and Queensland.  The large academic, research and clinical delivery partnership includes:

  • Mater Health Services
  • Children’s Health Queensland HHS
  • Translational Research Institute
  • QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute
  • The University of Queensland
  • Queensland University of Technology

In creating the BDHP Academic Health Science System, the partners are making a commitment to work together with a shared purpose and mission to deliver excellence in health care underpinned by strong education and research.
