Targeting cancer metabolism with therapeutics derived from Queensland biota

We have identified two compounds, isolated from biota collected from Queensland’s rainforests and Great Barrier Reef, that prevent prostate cancer cell growth by disrupting novel cancer metabolic pathways. This project will refine and accelerate their translation into therapies.
