Centre for Personalised Analysis of Cancers (CPAC)
The objectives of our inter-disciplinary program are to optimise, expand and exploit current capabilities to:
(i) Facilitate the development of advanced patient-derived 3D tumour models (tumouroids and explants) in which to undertake ex-vivo therapeutic sensitivity screens;
(ii) Identify specific ex-vivo assays that reliably read-out clinical responses and test their utility in clinical trials;
(iii) Provide a structured, coordinated, interdisciplinary and tumour-stream aligned research training program for early career clinicians; and
(iv) Instigate a coordinated consumer collective of tumour stream representatives with high level representation across CPAC committees to facilitate consumer input.
