"Tom Whitington completed his PhD in 2010 at the IMB (UQ) under the supervision of Dr Andrew Perkins and Dr Tim Bailey.
Tom is currently a postdoctoral researcher based at the Karolinski Institutet (Sweden). His work intersects functional genomic data with genetic associations for individual diseases with a particular emphases on prostate cancer.
Tom has co-authored many recent high-impact publications including two papers in Cell and on paper in Nature Genetics."
