The fun run now in its seventh year is in memory of PA
physiotherapist Adam Smiddy who sadly lost his life to
an aggressive melanoma at the age of just 26.
Queensland is the melanoma capital of the world.
Each year over 100,000 Australians are diagnosed with
melanoma. On average 1270 of those diagnosed will lose
their battle with this disease.
By participating in the Smiddy Fun Run you can make a
difference to these devastating statistics, with all proceeds
going to help our researchers battle skin cancer.
