The QUT community will come together again for the Pink Ribbon Blue Sky Breakfast, a showcase of research diversity, collaboration and translation while acknowledging the personal, family and community impact of breast and prostate cancers.

Meet Dr Jeannette Young, Chief Health Officer for Queensland, QUT IHBI’s cancer researchers and their collaborators.

Dr Young will shed light on Queensland’s approach to health and medical research. The Breakfast will also include presenters, IHBI Professor Rik Thompson who has 30 years in breast cancer research; Professor Colleen Nelson Founder and Executive Director of the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre - Queensland (APCRC-Q) and Chair of Prostate Cancer Research QUT; and Professor Wayne Tilley, Director, Dame Roma Mitchell Cancer Research Laboratories (DRMCRL), The University of Adelaide.

This year’s Pink Ribbon Blue Sky Breakfast will showcase the depth and breadth of IHBI research in breast and prostate cancers and provide opportunities to ask questions about the work, the challenges and the future of cancer care and wellness.
