Dr José Leal is a Research Advisor for the NHS's Research Design Service, and a Senior Researcher with the Health Economics Research Centre (HERC) at the University of Oxford.

Dr Leal's primary research interests are in evidence synthesis frameworks in economic evaluation, individual patient level modeling and the use of large datasets to inform healthcare resource allocation decisions.
