International Guest Speaker Dr Martine Roudier, Prostate Cancer Pathology Specialist. This regular seminar series, hosted by the APCRC - Q, aims to bring together high calibre scientists, researchers and clinicians froma cross-section of disciplines, enabling them to share discoveries and discuss the significance of their work in the treatment of prostate cancer.

Dr Martine Roudier MD PhD

"Acquiring and Studying Metastatic Disease in Prostate Cancer Patients"

Martine will be presenting the Prostate Rapid Autopsy Program at the University of Washington

 

Dr Roudier is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Pathology Department of the University of Washington, Seattle, and the Head of the Pathology Department at the Territorial Hospital in Noumea, New Caledonia.

After completing her PhD in bone repair at the University of Bordeaux in France, Dr Roudier took up her residency in Human Anatomic Pathology at the University of Hotel Dieu in Paris.

In Pointe a Pitre in France, Dr Roudier filled the role of Head of the Pathology Department at the University Hospital, as well as lecturing Histology at the University of Antilles-Guyane Medical School.

In 1999, she was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Urologic Oncology, from the Department of Urology at the University of Washington in Seattle.  Upon completing her postdoctoral work, Dr Roudier took on the roles of Study Director and Histology & Histomorphometry Lab Manager at SkeleTech, Inc, WA; following which, she worked as Pathologist Director of Amgen, Seattle for a number of years.
