On behalf of the International Organizing Committee, I am delighted to invite you to the 15th International Congress on Hormonal Steroids and Hormones & Cancer to be held in Kanazawa, Japan on November 15-17, 2012.
This is the second time that this International Congress is held in Japan. Kanazawa is a beautiful city having a population of nearly 500 000 people sitting on the Sea of Japan and bordered by the Japan Alps. The Local Organizing Committee offers you the unique opportunity to visit this historical region of Japan. Thanks to the much appreciated and kind invitation of our colleagues from Japan where a long expertise is recognized in the field of hormones, the Program Organizing Committee has put together an outstanding scientific program which will be supported by the classical hospitality of our Japanese colleagues. The city has much to offer in terms of history, culture, scenery, cuisine and quality of life. Careful attention has been given to the social program and activities for accompanying persons to help enjoy the highlights of Kanazawa and Ishikawa region.
The objective of this Congress is to promote scientific exchange in the field of hormonal steroids and hormones and cancer. Endocrinology has always been at the forefront of molecular biology while hormone-sensitive cancers account for one third of all cancers. The Congress will consist of plenary lectures, interactive poster discussions, meet-the-professor sessions and symposia that will be conducted by distinguished scientists who will share the latest discoveries in all aspects of the field.
