This meeting plans to bring together leading research groups in Australia to share the latest research findings, facilitate collaborations, and to engage with international experts in the cell cycle and cancer research field. International keynote speakers include:
- Prof. Andrea Musacchio, director of the Max-Planck Institute, Dortmund Germany
- Prof. Jan Karlseder, Director of Glenn Center for Ageing, The Salk Institute La Jolla, USA
Emphasis will include areas of traditional interest in cell cycle such as control of G1, DNA replication, checkpoint pathways and mitosis, as well as emerging topics such as the links between cell cycle regulation and tumourigenesis, spindle and chromosome dynamics and regulation of mitosis by telomere maintenance.
