Biography

Dr Gregory is a lecturer in human anatomy in the Faculty of Science and Technology at QUT. She is an expert in the research fields of bone remodelling and adaptation, histomorphometry, in vivo animal models, and the role of prostaglandins and cyclooxygenases in bone biology. She is affiliated with the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society. Her research extends from fracture healing and osteoporosis to bone metastasis, where she has begun to explore the differential development of osteoblastic and osteolytic lesions induced by cancer cells using an intratibial injection model in mice.

Most recently she has gained an interest in the relationship between bone marrow, bone tissue and cancer cell colonisation in the bone microenvironment.
