Biography

In 1988, after completing a two year term as Research Assistant in the Department of Surgery/Department of Biochemistry at the University of Queensland, Elizabeth took up a position as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii USA.

On returning to Brisbane in 1996, she served as Medical Officer and Registrar at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, until 2003 when she took up the role of Registrar in Medical Oncology  at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

In 2004, Elizabeth worked as visiting Medical Officer in Medical Oncology, Gold Coast Hospital, Southport, Queensland, and in 2005 she took on the role of Staff Specialist in Medical Oncology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
