Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation
Established in May 2005, the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation took over the activities of the Greenslopes Private Hospital Veterans' Research Foundation and represented a new era for research at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Gallipoli reflects the Anzac tradition of ingenuity, mateship, courage and perseverance and the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation strives to demonstrate these attributes so that it serves as a lasting memorial to our forebears.
The Foundation believes that the diseases which indiscriminately affect both the young and old can - and must be - conquered in our lifetime through medical research.
In their work of facilitating discoveries in liver and liver cancer research, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), respiratory research, ophthalmology, wound management and clinical trials, they remember and take inspiration from the discipline and dedication exemplified by veterans.
